In order to cheer Mikal up after getting his shit beaten in and nearly dying; A'hari points out that Mikal's new face scars match hers.

I'm gonna be honest: Total accident. I didn't even notice until I was in the middle of drawing this how similar the facial scars were. To be fair, the original drawing I did of Mikal with the scars weren't intended to be permanent nor canon, but when I decided to give them to him for THIS drawing, I had just decided to recreate the ones I already made. Any you know what? I'm glad I kept them. The scars aren't perfectly the same, and I think it's cute they share them.

I love these two so much; they make me so happy just seeing them. I hope I feel the same when I eventually get around to Ion and his partner (or even partners, haven't decided). Ion and Mikal have become probably my new favorite characters of mine, and they're even coming close to replacing Tibalt as my main OC(s).
