Description Heads up: Wall of text incoming! It's a BIG lore dump with this character.

So I WAS going to continue the Art Style Experiment challenge, but I've gotten caught up in developing the world that Ion and Mikal are in. Right now I'm drawing the brother's partners/significant others because I want to.
Okay, it's a little bit more than that: I've got the relationship between the two brothers and their mother worked out, but I think I need to develop the pre-existing characters and add some new ones. Designing the partners for each of the brothers is a pretty easy relationship to do first (well, except family members obviously, but I've already been doing that one).

This is Mikal's partner, A'hari. She actually expanded the idea of the world a lot more than I though it would. So the Clan has this culture of worshipping animals and beasts; it's why many of it's people, including Mikal, have Werewolf pacts giving them the strength of the beasts. Originally, A'hari was going to be another human, but one from outside the Clan that came to learn of it's culture. But then I thought it would be more interesting if she was a Werewolf. See, the Clan is allies with the Werewolf pack who owns the territory they inhabit. So I thought why not have the Clan and Pack have a mutual agreement; the Pack will give Clan members their power, and the Clan members will help with the packs survival. In this world, Werewolves are not people with a Lycanthropy curse, but just a species of wolf-like beast people (And they also look like orcs cause why not). However, two werewolves can't have children; a werewolf needs a human partner to have children.
Mikal was someone who took the pact of the Werewolf, meaning he was technically claimed by the Pack as a future father of werewolves. There's no arranged marriages or anything like that however, so Mikal kind of just continued on with life and didn't think anything of it. When A'hari started seeking out a partner, the clan tried to match her with literally anyone else, but she was like "no, I want that one". And so, she did her best to court the Clan's General. It's a process, but it does eventually work and the two get together.

Now that the LORE is out of the way, let's talk about A'hari as a character:
For her clothing: Werewolves don't normally wear clothing; it just kinda gets in the way when they go into their beast form (I haven't designed her beast form yet. I'm still trying to figure out how it works and what they would look like). What she's wearing is basically her being modest now that she's basically living in the Clan around a bunch of humans.
Despite her physical size (she's short af), she's equally as strong as Mikal in terms of physical strength, maybe even a bit stronger since she's a werewolf and he is just a human who's been gifted a fraction of a werewolf's strength. Although, thankfully, she's not that heavy, so he can lift or carry her with ease. Which is good, because she likes to sit on his shoulders while he's doing stuff.
A'hari is a very bright and spunky person who sometimes comes of as a bit air-headed; but to call her that would be a mistake. She is, in fact, VERY intelligent and knows what she's doing. She acts very chaotically, but she's good at reading, predicting, and manipulating people.
Her main reason for wanting to court Mikal in particular is because she liked how "inexperienced" he was (As in, he doesn't have much skill in anything outside of combat and war, not because she thought he was dumb or anything. She assumed it would be fairly easy for her to make him flustered or throw him off his game). It didn't end up working out though, because Mikal basically a adamantine wall of composure. It was at least enough for him to find her charming though.

Not necessarily important or anything, but I think the silhouette of Mikal to show the height difference is positioned in such a funny way, and it was a total accident. I didn't realize until I finished the drawing that with how his arms and hands are positioned, it looks like he's going "I'd like to introduce you to my lady. I love her very much <3"
