For those who didn't see the past version, these are the 2.0 versions of the designs. I will be discussing some of the changes from those original designs, even if the originals are not here to reference.

Pearl Design Notes:
Pearl is the Female protagonist (she/her); she has a preppy, pastel style, and is associated with the Fairy and Flying types.
Originally, I thought Grey was going to be the character that was going to lose their blue color, but then I realized the green color would go well with her signature pink color. Also, I made her grey much lighter because the original color kind of clashed with the pastels.

Steel Design Notes:
Steel is the Male protagonist (he/him); he has a tech-wear, industrial style, and is associated with the Steel and Poison types.
No real changes to the design, just made the ultra balls into Pokeballs.

Grey Design Notes:
Grey is the Fem-Male protagonist (he/they); they have a cyberpunk, vaporwave style, and is associated with the Psychic and Ice types.
His outfit got a full overhaul. Adjusted colors, different pants; even his grey got a bit more blueish to fit better with the color scheme. The only thing that wasn't fully redrawn from the original was his shoes lol.

Ash Design Notes:
Ash is the Masc-Female protagonist (she/they); they have a athletic-wear, color block style, and is associated with the Fighting and Water types.
I knew it was the backpack throwing off the design. She stole grey's belt pack (because honestly didn't fit with Grey's new look), and I spread out a bit more of that red color so it wasn't just on the hands. Also, made the arrow patterns symmetrical; wasn't necessary, but felt right.
