Description
Some ideas for the symbols of elements in a roleplay universe I'm currently working on together with my partner!I tried to make it so that the most common elements are at the top and that they get rarer the lower they are. I also tried to keep them somewhat simple at the top and make them more complex as they get lower.
The four most basic ones are the simplets, and the most common.
The four last ones on the third row are considered the most sinful/unforgivable elements to practice.
The lowest one, Spirit (I thought about naming it Soul but Spirit rolledbetter on the tongue) is the rarest one of them all and also the most dangerous. The more the elementalist uses it, the stronger it becomes. It also drains the elementalist of his/her energy and leaves him/her vulnerable to outside forces and entities.
Those who through history have been cursed with the Spirit element have always turned mad, twisted, and eventually committed suicide, but only after wreaking as much havoc and chaos as possible upon the land.
The elements are more often than not genetically embedded, and certain races are more prone to certain types than others. While the Fire element is more common with the dragon species, Moon is more common with the Astral elves and Water is more common with Sirens and Merpeople.
The Spirit element is a sleeping gene specifically embedded in the Lysanthír family, the royal bloodline of the Silver elves. Áyluin, son of Ánduin, son of Áiwin, is currently in possession of the element.

Nice read and cool idea. Really digging the element designs and number, instead of just the usual four. I'm also really curious about the beast one. Is it like summoning beasts? Talking to animals?

Oh, thank you! I barely remember this, haha. But I think I intended the beast element to enable the person in possession of it to be able to control animals, every animal, not really summoning.
