Man... it's gonna suck if Stan has to say goodbye to the kids at the end of the series.
I hope Alex Hirsch changed his mind about sendingΒ Dipper and MabelΒ back to Piedmont at the end of the summer. The town of Gravity Falls is a place where they fit, it's where all their friends are, and from the look of those flashbacks in in the last episode, they didn't have many friends living in Piedmont. Also, it broke my heart when Mabel said she didn't want to say goodbye to Gravity Falls.

I think that either Stan or Ford will die in the finale. I have a strong feeling that it will be Ford. If Ford dies, that's all the more reason for the twins to stay in Gravity Falls; for Stan, losing his brother a second time would no doubt be devastating. Dipper and Mabel shouldn't have to leave their Grunkle all alone after he goes through that.

nah alex said that they would go home at the end of the summer
and as far as writing goes, for stan to lose ford again that would make the past 30 years and several episodes of the 2nd season wasted
and speaking of writing, all the foreshadowing of stan going to die at first was just all of the things that represent stan being destroyed, stan landing in a coffin in the land before swine, and stan getting hit by a flying pipe and bleeding a lot in society of the blindeye
and if stan is not the one to die, then the entire episode of the stanchurian candidate would also be pointless, because that episode is about stan feeling he doesn't have any worth, talks about dying and his tombstone a lot, and then realizing he is the twins' hero...
i don't know about you but that episode totally sounded like foreshadowing his death to me.... o3o
but don't get me wrong I HOPE WITH EVERY BIT OF MY PERSON THAT HE IS NOT THE ONE TO DIE AND I AM SO WRONG
he is such an amazing character and i've grown soooo attached to him and i will cry my freakin eyeballs out if he dies
