"Growing up in Ponyville, Twilight wanted to teach her daughters* and nephew about magic. Even though Sky and Stellar were pegasi, that didn't stop them from learning about magic.** Charmer's parents wanted to teach him magic, but their busy schedules kept them from it. Twilight insisted she teach him about the basics of magic before moving on to learning about the magic of love with his mother. She also wanted to teach Sky because she knew that her destiny was already set in stone. Stellar just wanted to learn more about magic and mainly the magic of friendship, for when she makes new friends in the future."

*Stellar was adopted by Twilight when she was a younger filly, before Sky was born.
**Cadence was a pegasus when she learned about magic, so why can't my characters learn too?

Please don't call my characters mary sues. I'm still working out the kinks in their stories, and this is my headcanon, I can do what I like with my characters (except Twilight of course.)
