If Bryana dn Miek had cared more about narrative then being progressive this would have been the Ed inf heck I think some hung like this was the original.

This art is beautiful.
You know I find it hard to believe that the writers repeated history, like when Zuko save Katara's life by taking the blow, and what does he get in return? A girlfriend who threatens him not to break up with him, when she didn't exactly heal him. (I'm not saying she has to be a bender to heal him, I'm just saying that Mai didn't seem quite 'comforting' as I thought, she seems so bland, in my opinion.)
While it was nice that Korra comfort Asami, why not rest of Team Avatar comfort her as well, their her family! So let me get this straight the writers once again decided that the 'Hero' gets the girl!? (When I quote hero, it seem like Korra had the male position, There's nothing wrong with Tomboys.) All I'm saying it's just the ending didn't feel right to me, The writers lied, when they proclaim that they decided 'Not to pair the hero getting the girl in the end' Their such Hypocrites.
Does Bryke have something having pairing fire benders with water benders? If that's the case why throw 'suppose' hints at us? What gave you the impression that Zuko and Katara's relationship was sexual? I don't see nothing wrong with them? Is that why you decided to let Katara shove off her happiness for Aang's?
Yeah, I get it, when you love someone, you strive to make them happy. I understand that, but the fact is; forcing her to love someone so they can be happy but you don't get the same happiness in return seems wrong. I feel so for not only Katara but for Aang as well, so as soons he gets free from the ice berg by these two water tribe kids, he sees one of them who happens to be this pretty girl, and decides, he likes, and ends marrying her. Even though, he doesn't know her. Okay I heard of love in first sight, but is that why he likes/love her, because of her appearance? There's more than just appearance, so what are you trying to teach us Bryke? That the next you see is your one true love? Stop right there, love is not something you can buy, love is where you give, and learn to earn it. The way I see it seems a bit too cliché, hero-gets-the-girl. End of rant, my apologies, I really, really dislike those two writers, blaugh
All-in-all, your drawing is so great and excellent. It's beautiful.

PinkyPie I couldn't agree with u more. You literally quoted how I felt about the ending, even though I have learned to except it. I'm not against Korrasami and probably would've felt different about it if it was played out better and more frequently throughout the series. But it did not do that. Makorra was seen as the main OTP of Lok. So to all of a sudden have Korra and Asami, who have been distant from one another, become instant bffs to suddenly lovers made absolutely no sense at all. And yes I do feel that Bryke lied and teased a lot of Makorra fans, which was way below the belt on their part. And I will NEVER forgive them for their stupid 'hetero lense' regarding the Makorra/Korrasami fans. However, regardless of it all, even though it still hurts me emotionally, I will let Korrasami be. However, that will NEVER EVER stop me from shipping, loving,drawing and believing in the beautiful glow of true love that is Makorra. As long as there r still loyal fans out there repairing the damage to this ship, caused by Bryke, Makorra will forever sail the fandom sea. And that is a promise!!

Korrasami was an unexpected and lovely ending for the series, but Makorra will always #1 in my eyes. This was nicely done.

Yea, even though I don't ship Korrasami as a couple, I'm not against the ship. But while I don't deny what happened, I refuse to give up on Makorra. It's still number 1 to me and always will

Aww thank you girl, I absolutely will keep doing more Makorra drawings. And believe me you're not alone. There r a lot of people who still love, ship and believe in Makorra and want to keep it alive. I'm not against Korrasami or the message, but Makorra is still and always will b number 1. Long Live Makorra!!!
