Description
Two goblins, idly talking throught the ages.Really incredible formations.
This is the fourth (and last) of a set of pictures focusing on the unique formations in Goblin Valley State Park, Southern Utah. It is a very secluded valley full of unique sandstone formations, formed by time and the elements. The soft rock wears away and leaves the harder rock, the Entrada sandstone, exposed in incredible, goblin/mushroom type formations. A tourist could walk through the entire valley in a few hours, it is so small and secluded. The valley is also quite old. I have a lot more pictures from both Goblin Valley and Arches National Park, consider this a warm- up. The landscape was incredible, if you ever get the chance to stop by Goblin Valley or Arches, I highly recommend it. The close observer of my photos will realize that the lighting and sky look very different in some of the pictures in Goblin Valley, although I only spend 1 day in the actual valley. I have no explanation for it other than it was a semi-cloudy day with amazingly perfectly wonderfully varied lighting conditions in the late afternoon.
Film Photography with my Cannon. The only photoshop adjustments are strictly to restore the photos to their vibrant original color.
