An art trade forA fan of the animated series Code Lyoko, he asked for a pic of Jeremie and Aelita, sporting a corruption theme of his design where Aelita is corrupted (at least partially) by Xana.
He asked for Aelita in corrupted form to be making a move on Jeremie and pretty much just let me run with it. And this is the end result.
Originally I had a concept in my head of Aelita caressing Jeremie's head with her angelic wing in one frame while in the other she had her demonic wing sharply sticking under his throat, as if playfully debating wether to kiss him or kill him. But in the end I stuck with her cornering him, predominantly with her evil side, intending to bring him over to the dark side as it were in her only special way
And then I seperately sketched Each half of her personality reflecting off Jeremie's glasses, kind of like a yin-yang effect.Hope he likes.

Is there an comic series? I'm pretty sure I've heard this once o twice. I like it although Jermy's face at the end is kinda akward to look at, kinda inflated.

Its a concept a fellow artist and friend of mine had where basically Xana corrupts Aelita, but only partially. And her corrupted half merges with her inner desires and tries to corrupt Jeremy.

i love what you've done. i really like Aelitas face in his glasses. the evil half has a rape/psychoΒ face and the good half has a gentle,warm face. well done.
Jeremie: looking nervous "what do you mean by not in the conventional sense?"
Aelita: "well" a evil lusty smile creeping on here face "lets just say that when I'm done oh say in a couple of days it'll take you a couple of days to get out of the bed" she says pulling him close a whispering in his ear she says "not that you'll want to."Β

An error on my part. I misinterrpeted the eye color in a reference shot as light blue.

Woah, now this turned out really cool Ryan, the background is just awsome, and i really, really really, REALLY love how you did Aelitas wings, especially the devil wing, the coloring and the tears in it is just so...so, gah! i can't even begin to describe it, it's just to cool!
I am also really impressed with how you designed her dark side, the glowing red lines on her arm is a truley exellent touch, and her face, i just love her expression, so very fitting for this rather intense moment.
Also, great idea with drawing her reflection in Jeremies glasses, the good/evil side on them was a really good idea.
All in all, i am one satisfied customer, thank you so much for this masterpice, you really outdid yourself here, i do hope we can make more arttrades in the future.

Yeah, the wings were a real focal point in the design so I tried to chew up the demon wings as best I could. And I know how much you like Venom and the symbiote so I tried to incororate the blothcy veins into her corrupted side with a red aura glimmering off her.
Like I said, this was fun. Likewise, I hope we can do more like this in the future.
