The real message hidden behind the words...
I love how you broke it up at the end - it makes the speaker feel distraught, as if he/she were choking out the words...
As someone who's only ever experience rejection in that area of life, you're onto something. What strikes me time and time again about your work is how I can relate to it on such a deep and primeval level - and how others can as well, reading through comments on your poems.
About your lack of inspiration, I've been surprised at how many incredibly famous poems were written when the poet was going through a tough and dry period. Don't lose heart, you're producing beautiful work.
