ZATR. ^^I've been wanting to do something zatr-y for a long time. I painted this one a little different. I used mostly brush strokes and tried to stay away from the smudge tool as much as I could, which is what I usually use for shadows and light.
Much thanks to my brother *VonceDragon for coloring the smoke.

This is really good. Saw this in the club and literally said 'wow' out loud. Very lovely and I love the poses and the different style you have with the Irkens. Amazing, really.

I really like this picture! The poses, the composition, the coloring...all very nice!
Even the subject! Despite what some people say, I actually like ZATR. The pairing works. By no means would it be "sweet"...they'd be at eachothers' throats constantly. But still, I can see them as a couple, no matter how twisted the relationship may be.
I really like the smoke billowing in the background, framing Zim and Tak. The burning embers are also a nice touch.

I love the tattered clothes, I love the floating embers, I love both their poses. .. ...I think I can safely say I love this whole pic DDD8
I think the only thing I can even nit-pick at is perhaps Tak's PAK needs more shading but that's just me, ignore that advice if you want because even as is, this is blowing my mind *O*

Tak looks sooo neat! Love her pose, love both their poses actually, hee XD Coloring jo is excellent, and the blood splatters on their feet/legs are and especially nice touch to the battle worn approach!
