i have a shirt with the two of them practically life-size(how i imagine them anyway) from the waste up. it got stained though. still, one's choice in muppets says a lot about them. not sure what exactly, but i'm sure facebook has something to say on the matter.

after my pieces "birth of a moment" and "ZAP" which were made all with found as-is symmetrical images (and took a year to complete each!)... i began using a color photocopier to duplicate and mirror images, then cutting them all out twice by hand.
the background landscapes, cityscape, mantis, stereo stacks, and koopas are the only duplicated images here though...everything else is one of a kind

Hummn. Well i like how you are using that method. I don't know how i feel about exploring it myself. I get that the computer, the copier are just other tools at one's disposal. It feels like cheating to me. I'm not saying you are cheating, just how it feels if i were to do it. Somehow by imposing spurious limitations on my work, i feel it challenges me to work within the confinement. And a special wow to you for the all found symmetrical materials. Difficult!

yes i gave up waiting and searching endlessly (and oft frustratingly) for the right images and decided that making art actually happen was more fun and fulfilling than conceding to my limitations of classical purist collage... but either way, its all still made of paper... and ive made more art in the last two years than the previous 6
