I just think it’s ridiculous that the toxic fandom is why people don’t like or make them stop liking the show, The Loud House and Steven Universe being the biggest examples, there is a true side of it, and I mean it ain’t toxic, also, who cares, a toxic fandom does not a ruined show make, I feel like people should be aware of that, I acknowledge the toxic side of any fandom, but I ignore that and just enjoy what I’m watching, so yeah, don’t at me on this, but I think a fandom being that reason is dumbRelated content

Yeah see here's the thing.
Fandoms have ruined more animes than you think, take a look at MHA. The shipping community has gotten so out of hand it's essentially illegal to not like at least ONE same-sex ship or else they will harass you with homophobic claims and chase you off of whatever social media you have
Another example being the people who literally just suck the juice out of the entire show, how would you feel if someone who watches an show you never heard of essentially tries to shove it down your throat and makes references and memes about it almost every damn time it's brought up?
Then there's the people who just oversexualize the hell out of the entire show, another example being Steven Universe and quite a lot of other shows as well, so there are MORE than enough ways for a fandom to ruin a show for you.
