We discovered this little button in our cow barn a couple of days ago. Our Cow Tessa was pregnant however she wandered off towards the back of the fields. She stayed over there and did not want any humans near her. This is where we figured she decided to calve. Now our cow barn is open so they can wander in and out, and that's just what she did. Tessa was very friendly with us as the vet came out to examine her and this cute little babe. Both are healthy.Watching them in the fields, this little button enjoys prancing in the tulips and other wildflowers. We have decided to name her Hornton's Tulip. Her Sire is RileyBB boy Hornton Hears a Moo and he's a handsome boy, so we decided to name her after him. Tulip is a little bit spunky right now, she seems to enjoy running up to us and then running away. She does let us touch her, pet her and handle her. There are no doubts that this little one will be as friendly as the rest of the flock.
