Kuznetsova is a cyborg scientist who have 95% of her body replaced by artificial organs and systems; and is a single mom, but is really proud of her healthy and brilliant little babygirl Svetlana, and loves her very much.

"Doctor, you spoil Svetlana too much..."

"Well, why shouldn't I? I have every reason in the world to do anything for my little baby girl...!"
"Doctor, she's already ten years old!"

It's been centuries since Mars was terraformed, its atmosphere is breathable and the soil is cultivated and supports diverse forest ecosystems. But even so, the climate is frighteningly cold and dry, and this condition is reflected in the clothing of the inhabitants - especially women and children - and in the construction of cities and residences.

Yuliya and Svetlana are descendants of distinguished Russian colonists, who settled on Mars more than 5 centuries ago.
