Okay this my response if i were the boy who meet Momo & her father, "Kiku"
Story:
*The Chinese boy runs from his tormentors who tried to kidnapΒ Momo & hold her hostage after saving her from them(while carrying Momo with him) then he bumps into Momo's father, Kiku*
Kiku: "Hey! What are you doing to my daughter?!!! Stay away from her OR ELSE...!!!"
Chinese boy: "Your gonna come after me for... DAMMIT!! I'm NOT the one who tried to harm her! Yes sure, you may be a good father but it was those guys who chased me who were the ones to blame!(referring to his tormentors who tried to hold Momo hostage) NOT ME!!! This whole thing's THEIR FAULT!! IT WAS THEIR IDEA!! NOT MINE! They were the real enemies!!! ...which is why i walked her home! CURSE THEM ALL!!" *this may sound like one of common traits of a sociopath but its quite common in Asian cultures*
