Videogames are no longer cool, this is the WORST videogame generation ever, PS3 sucks balls, Xbox 360 suck balls, Wii suck balls, PSP sucks, Nintendo DS sucks, Halo sucks, Call of Duty sucks, BlazBlue sucks, Street Fighter IV sucks, Assasins's Creed sucks, Dante's Inferno sucks, Soul Calibur IV is not cool as III was, FEAR 2 sucks, Lost Planet 2 sucks, Bayonetta sucks, Final Fantasy XIII sucks, Tatsunoko vs CAPCOM sucks, and I'm pretty sure that Marvel vs CAPCOM 3 will suck balls too.
Yeah, we have some good games like Dead Space, MK vs DC or Gears of Wars, but compared to previous (and far more awesome) videogame generations this generation has almost NOTHING.
I used to love videogames, but seriously, what the hell are they doing now?

Assassin's Creed is Ubisoft Montreal, and not crap. I admit 2 is better than 1 was (They streamlined the storytelling a lot, and took out a lot of gathering info screwing-about), but Assassin's Creed isn't crap at all. It's actually a pretty good game. Just a hard game. Made by the same people who made Beyond Good and Evil.
I understand having a hatred for a lot of the new console things because face it-- gaming is kind of going into it's awkward adolesence with console-capabilities-whoring out topping good storyline and sometimes gameplay. But lumping all of these different hatreds in one mass uuberhatred is nothing short of somebody else's nerdrage waiting fall down upon you and flame you from one side of Deviantart to the next. :<
In my personal opinion some companies do way better working with other companies. For example, I recently played Baten Kaitos: Origins, which was the sequel to the first Baten Kaitos game and came out juuuust as the Gamecube was on death's door. It was a freaking amazing game, whereas the first Baten Kaitos was a puddle of crud gameplay plus scenery porn. Why? Because Tri-Crecendo and MonolithSoft were left alone to work on it. BUT Origins is an amazing game because they had Nintendo's funding-- NOT Namco Bandai.
The right developers making the right games is the key. Team Ninja should not have made Metroid. But there are interviews that say that the creator of Metroid said explicitly that Samus's characterization is 'the original vision' and he never would have imagined it otherwise. Bullcrap. If that was true, Nintendo, then why did you not express this original vision in ALL OF THE OTHER GAMES PREVIOUSLY MADE. That had the memory space in them for it, anyway? D<

I played Mass Effect 2 and I'm not going to lie, it was definitely awesome. I just got myself Red Dead Redemption Game of the Year Edition as well and hopefully I'll get Uncharted 3 for Christmas. Happy?

Compared to other MK games, yeah, it sucks a little, but at least MK vs DC is funny to play and has far more gameplay than Blazblue and Final Fantasy XIII together.

I do and I freaking love it! The way characters fight are so unusual but unique. It's more enjoyable than Street Fighter IV. (I played SFIV before BBCT) It has this appeal. Come for the well balanced gameplay, stay for the story. (^_^)
