Description
Finally had some more time to draw, and chose one of my favourite people to draw. (Which anyone who might have looked at my gallery would've realisedThis one took ... perhaps.. 8 hours all in all (I never time it, so it's just a guestimation).
This is made on an A3 sheet of paper.
I started with charchoal, and continued with grafite. HB, B, B2 and B6. The backgroung is mostly charchoal.
Also, I apologise for the quality of the photograph of the drawing.. I couldnt get a completely clear one, and I had to crop it to make it look good..

It doesn't even look like a drawing, it is so amazing and real. You captured her so well. I would love to see what you would do with a specific picture of myself to see how you would draw the curls in my hair.

Drawing for me is just an outlet. I suppose I have to also practice at focusing my emotion.

Well, it's an outlet for me too... when I draw, I don't really notice that there's a world going on around me... so it's .. well, it's probably more an escape for me in that sense.. I just get really focused on what I'm doing, and sort of forget things that are bothering me. And when I get out from my "drawing-space" everything feels better in a way..
My problem is finishing drawings though.. I always want to start new ones, and get bored after a while.
Which is why I spend forever before I finish something.. I have many many unfinished projects that seem to take forever!
I think your drawings are great though! And you look way younger than I am (although, you could look younger than you are I suppose), so you have many years to draw as much as I have, so by my age you will be much better than me
I also like your photos!

Oh, wow, Thanks for that
Go with love please, I'd much rather you love me than be jealous, lol, I don't like the thought of evoking such a negative emotion..

I always strive to make it as close to whatever I'm drawing as possible, so that's an awesome compliment

I like the starkness of this picture. It's very straightforward, and for some reason reminds me of an old wartime photo. I love the different take on the lighting too, since you don't see this style every day. You captured the emotion of the moment very well--I'm quite inspired!

Thank you.
I didn't take the original photo though, so the style and lighting isn't something I can take credit for.
I just drew from it. I'm not quite sure who took the photo, might have been Lindsey Byrnes.. I just saw a photo I loved and drew it.

Thank you
How? Well I don't know if I would call my drawing brilliant, but I spend a lot of time on the areas that I know I'm not good at, to try to get better.. I really think patience is the key.. that and never being happy with the result(perfectionalism? or just plain crazy/stupid? lol)
Thank you very much for the compliment though
