myself as android 17 from dragon ball z.worn at wausabicon...sorta. Got there later than I thought and wasn't actually able to wear it at the con. Basically just changed after not giving a panel that no one showed up for and did photos and then went to IHOP.
I need to style the wig (I had no time as I was working on freelance projects and other cosplay stuff) and get more photos of this costume. Logo is custom painted, the neck hankerchief is HUGE, legwarmers sewn, shoes custom painted and the sleeves are custom made and sewn into the black shirt. HOORAY!
ps - man pants are huge.

When I was little, I watched DBZ. I really haven't seen him in a reallllllly long time but when I saw this picture I instantly remembered him...your Cosplay of him is incredibly good!!

I honestly don't know DragonBall Z very well, so I have to say that this is an incredibly good cosplay. Namely because I actually recognized who you were supposed to be - before seeing the title of the photo and barely knowing anything about DBZ.

You have Snape hair...lol. I don't know what this character is from but I'm going to take a wild guess at Pokemon because of the R logo. But, team rocket members don't usually wear such colorful clothing do they?

I do have Snape hair, however it's not from Pokemon. I'm Android 17 from Dragon Ball Z. The R is part of the Red Ribbon Army logo.

Thank you! I still have more to add to him, as I ran out of time. Need to do his 2nd belt yet for the next time I wear him and style my wig. But all in all I can't complain too much.

Oh god I'm picky. Sometimes to a fault. But when costumes are so simple or so overdone you have to have the details or else it doesn't work. The androids costumes are so simple that they are easy to do wrong. Heck, even my Officer Jenny costume is "simple" yet it's so "simple" it's HARD.

Kinda nearby. I'm actually in MN but I pretty much JUST attend WI cons. I'm random like that.
There are times to ignore certain details, and other times where they're needed. I embroidered my Szayel gloves for like 8 hours just so I'd have lines like they're drawn in the manga. Front and back. Oy. However, I skipped his (manga version)scalloped collar (I originally wanted to do it) due to lack of time and the howthehell/WTF factor. So it's just the anime collar. Still works! But the gloves, I couldn't skip that.
also, is it wrong that I thought of the rest of the David Cassidy song "I Think I Love You"?

Nope, I actually lived out of the state for a few years attending school and working. My friends in state don't attend so I don't either. We like to travel vs staying in state 'cos they all live in the cities so it's just easier/more fun to go somewhere since it'll cost the same amount anyway if you opt to stay in a hotel.
