Description
This was for my exam a few weeks back!The point was to chose a piece of art from one of our favourite artists and use this piece to create something of our own. I chose this JOB piece from Mucha: [link] , and decided to make a self-portrait out of it.
It took me ages to finish, since it's pretty big (A3), but I was really pleased with it once it was done

Alphonse Mucha is one of my top favourite artists, and this is absolutely gorgeous. You've captured his style perfectly and the colours are amazing. I myself am hoping to do something similar one day, so mega props for this.

This is a very stunning picture. I like your choice of colors and the arrangement and detail of every thing. Also, like that the make-up blends in well and is not obvious.

wauw den er ekstremt vakker O__o faktisk, sรฅ hadde vi en ganske lignende oppgave i kunsten som avsluttningsoppgave i รฅr, og det var รฅ velge en kunstner fra 1900tallet og bli inspirert til รฅ lage noe eget. jeg valgte frida kahlo, siden hun malte sรฅ mange selvportretter, med dyrene sine i bakgrunnen, sรฅ jeg malte et eget selvportrett med MINE dyr i bakgrunnen : D men vi skulle jo male. jeg hรฅ

That is so funny, I did almost the same thing for my exam project.
I used Mucha for inspiration, writing an essay analyzing his style and made my own picture in his style.
..I was going to add a link but I just realized I actually haven't uploaded it.
I really like yours, the JOB poster is one of my own favourites of Muchas and I can appreciate how long it takes ;D

Very nice portrayal, the details and the colors are amazing and stunning. It's easy to see your inspiration but at the same time you did an amazing job at intertwining it with your style.
