and yes constructoids can sleep by switching their systems off, in a similar matter to how electronic devices have on / off modes not that you'd want to mess with them whan they sleep, as they find it anoying and possibly agrovating if the intruder is doing something bad to their interior

jets can also use what free flowing tissue there is in their mouth and escentialy turn it into various objects from from to tools to even a restrain device like the chain and shackles like seen here to even some forms of weapons (yes that man is literaly chained up in what would otherwise be a tongue)

also I don't want to be weird but
