Description

She was dancing, she was smiling,

Roses blooming in her cheeks.

In a quiet, kind of litany,

She accepted from the feet.

And then she twirled into the arms,

Of disgrace, and then repelled.

Now she's fallen to her knees,

But you couldn't ever tell.

It's not that she doesn't trust their senses (for simply because they cannot see does not mean they are blind), but Aquilina finds herself sticking to the back of their small group behind Callisto and Feshylus, her eyes scanning the forest about them. So it's no wonder that no one realizes when she comes to a sharp halt when they enter the familiar clearing. A sense of surrealty overcomes her, and she finds it strange; after all, the last time she'd been here, she was running away from it. But she knows, this is the place.

Polemos is talking ahead of them, but she doesn't hear. She doesn't have to; this is one entry point she'll remember, whether she wishes to or not. It's like a waking dream is unfolding around her. Screams and yowls take the place of the clouded leopard's voice. The click of the opening cage rings in her head. The sky opening overhead in her mind's eye, dark and deep and breath taking. She blinks out of her reverie and tilts her head back to focus on the sky, real and now.

It's dyed red in the light of the sunset, like blood, and she finds it simply ironic. Her life changed in an instant. What fate awaits her out here? She can only guess.

But as Polemos leads them off, she doesn't look back. Not once.

One day my writing will be more quality. It was so much better, but I came up with it during math and since I was trying to be discreet and all that, I just wrote down fragments I was going to expand on, but when I went to look at them it was like "the frick does this all mean". Ahah a h a. I also have no clue what the entry points look like which is why I didn't draw it, but I am assuming they leave the way they've come? This

This probably won't make sense if they don't /cries with this realization
