Sometimes I think you guys get bored of me drawing them all lovey dovey and sweet and cute... sometimes, some peopple want me to draw more things like dark and dresprssing, serious things, and many more...Then again, february is here, and you know what that means:
Lovely Dovey stuff, chcolate, declarations of eternal love, sappiness, happiness, red, pink and white, cherubs, overpriced candy, crippling depression, suicidal toughts, loneliness, white lies, not so white lies, haters, rants about this day, long lines at hotels, restaurants, cinemas (And I must stop right there or this is mostly going to become a rant) anyway as being as sappy as I am I will get something done this days, starting today and ending on Feb. 14, so stay tuned.

Por mucho que suene mal por decirlo, me reí mucho de tu progresión desde la versión idealizada del Día de San Valentín hasta la cantidad de personas que sentimos (y que otros incluso nos hacen sentir) en esa época del año. Aunque sospecho que tienes algunas cosas buenas en mente para este esfuerzo, estoy intrigado por la cantidad de inconvenientes que puedes incluir también. Aún mejor es que también soy un fanático de Elvis Costello. Lindo trabajo en la tarjeta de título en cualquier caso, con una silueta tan adorable y, caramba, tantas cajas de caramelos. Me pregunto si eso tiene algún significado…
Además, si incluso decides trabajar en cosas que son un poco más oscuras y atrevidas definitivamente me interesaría. Ya que eres bueno en establecer estados de ánimo y has dibujado algunas imágenes con matices agridulces, creo que harías un gran trabajo.
En cualquier caso, gracias por el aviso sobre lo que está elaborando.
Much as I sound evil for saying it, I got a good laugh out of your progression from the idealized version of Valentine's Day down to how many of us feel (and are even made to feel by others) at that time of the year. While I suspect you have some good things in mind for this endeavor I'm intrigued by how much of the down-side you may include too. Even better is that I'm a bit of an Elvis Costello fan too. Cute work on the title card in any case, with such an adorable silhouette and, gee, so many boxes of candy. I wonder if that has some significance…
Also, if you even decide to work on things that are a bit darker and edgier I'd definitely be interested too. Since you are good at setting moods and have drawn a few pictures with bittersweet undertones I think you would do a great job.
In any case, thanks for the heads-up about what you have brewing.
