There may not have been an April Fool's joke this year, but I DO have a pair of fools for April. The next character- or in this case, characters- in Go! Go! Hypergrind: Take Two! to get updated are the acrobatic twins, Cotton and Candy! The twins are a notable pair for a couple of reasons. First of all, they always work together, so despite being two different people, they're counted as one skater. This pair of sheep siblings have been a popular circus act since they were both 6 years old. They're always perfecting their craft in order to impress the audience, and they LOVE having the spotlight on them. So while they are ambitious, they also have a nasty mean streak, looking down on those who aren't as "capable" as they are. They can also be very competitive on their quest to be the best in show. They joined the new GGH competition to blow up their names even more- they don't just want to be circus stars, they want to be world famous! Individually, Cotton is a bit more reasonable than his sister. Candy is the meaner and more shrill of the two, not afraid to throw her brother under the bus if she feels he screwed up. But don't mistake that as Cotton being sympathetic- he will stoop to cheating and deceiving if it helps him and his sister get ahead.

These two had some big overhauls, but not quite as drastic as Dagger or Django. They're still sheep, they're still acrobats, and they're still jerks. Their new color schemes and outfits were a little tricky to figure out, but I think I managed to nail the "circus" look of them, without being too overbearing with the colors. They have a lot of physical differences too, despite the fact that they're twin brother and sister. I'm not usually a fan of having twins being treated as clones, and it makes sense for these two to have lot of notable differences since they're fraternal twins, but you can definitely tell they share the same DNA. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy the swinging return of the twins!
