Okay, so there may have been one last character left to upgrade in Go! Go! Hypergrind: Take Two! That would be the one and only, Liz! Liz is a Komodo Dragon, and she's in charge of Lizzie's, a skate shop that helps fix up boards as well as selling decals, wheels, and anything else needed for the sake of fixing up skateboards, She's helpful enough to the other skaters, though she was a former skater who wanted to participate in the original Go! Go! Hypergrind but was rejected for unknown reasons. She changed a lot since then, becoming a lot plumper since that first attempt at getting in the competition 20 years ago. She's very sassy, but very helpful. She seems to have a thing for one skater in particular, a certain tabby cat that happens to be a skater himself. Andy was a fan of Liz in her youth, and she was his motivation to try out skateboarding. Unbeknownst to him, that same Liz is the one helping fix up the boards to both him, and the other skaters.

Liz is a character that I knew needed to be fixed up not long after I designed her. Since she was the only one to not have been drawn in the original 2017 designs, she had to be created from wholecloth as part of the new faces introduced in the GGHT2 cast. Her scales changed, her color scheme was slightly altered, and she got bigger and plumper (not that I think anyone minds). I figured the series needed a character that ran the skate shop to have some dialogue and fun interactions, but can also end up being a potential secret, playable skater after accomplishing a certain feat in the game. So, you know, those skating skills WILL come back to use! So yes, she is the mystery skater for this cast, and there's a reason why I saved her for the very end. I hope you guys liked seeing all twelve of these original characters getting reintroduced!
