can I assume this transport is part of a mass evacuation of the plannet?
and about the central pillar, `memod , it could be held together by some artificial means as there are several facilties built into the sides of the various rocks and mountains
awesome pic btw

I like how you conveyed the hot and firey atmosphere with so broad strokes. The colours and values are really nice The rock pillar in the midground however looks a bit like it could not support itself
But that nitpick aside, nice work

This is a very good background image.
I was wondering, if me and my film team could use this image as a background for our film in a High School Class project.
We will give you credit in the credits and link you to your page.

Wow, thats a nice landscape *__* The colors and the architecture are great.

Heheh, thanks. Yeah, trying to work a little more story into my pics...though it wasn't much this time. But still, better than just the same damn static poses I always do.

This piece is great. The thumbnail hardly does it justice. The lights and darks of the lava beds are lovely, and the texturing that the linework adds to the rock formations is neat too.
Envy +1.

Thanks alot! Turned out a good deal better than I'd thought, really. Think I might do some more "outpost something" shots, from other worlds.

Wow, I liked it when I first saw it - but the simple little paragraph really makes it feel 10 x more dark. Love the feel of this one.

Thanks! I'm working on giving my shots a little more narrative...a bit tired of doing the old "I'm posing and looking good"-shots.

Awesome piece! This does remind me of the 3rd movie of star wars when Annikin is fighting Obi Wan. Very cool though!

And thanks.
