Ok, I have to just say this now. IM FREAKING TERRIFIED TO START HIGHSCHOOL!!!! Like, just thinking about it puts me in a panic. Image what it would be like when I’m first walking tin the door!!!! I don’t know why, I just get so worked up and scared when I meet new people. One or two is usually ok, but a whole group, or in this case, A WHOLE FREAKING SCHOOL, I’m literally PETRIFIED. I don’t know what to do. I’m just not ready to start. It makes me just want to curl in a ball and cry I’m so nervous and horrified.

aww thank you. Things have been getting better, but I still shake a bit and breath heavy thinking about going back, but I'm sure that will pass soon. I hope you find comfort going into 10th grade and I wish you luck!!!

Yeah, I was like that on my first day of Kindergarten (I’m only going into 5th I’m a young child) But don’t worry! And don’t be afraid to introduce yourself to others! They might just be your best friends for life!

ohhh!!! I can help friendo!!! I'ma Junior! Done the whole high-school thing for the last two years! As overwhelming as it might be for the first week or so, it does smooth over as you get used to your routes and what faces you'll see regularly in class and in the halls! Most people you see on the first day, you'll never see unless it's a freak meet-up in between classes. Especially for upperclassmen. Aside from assemblies or the occasional pep-rally (if you have those) you won't be pushed towards too many people. It's okay!
(That doesn't mean I wanna go tho. I really rEALLY don't.)

Yeah, it is scary, I’m actually moving in to a highschool building next year (I’ve been in a juniour high building, but I was technically in highschool in 9th grade) and I’m not sure what to expect with all the people. Same with going into middle school. But for me its very easy to get used to, yes there are PLENTY of annoying people who you want to smack for existing but hey it makes for great stories if anyone says anything dumb. I pretty much only have my girlfriend and I suck at keeping friends, it’s always been that way. But it’s okay, because there are so many new people to meet since it’s such a huge space, and even if you dont make many friends, then you just make everyone jealous of how cool you are and make them feel p a t h e t i c. The classes are pretty hard for me (i am a very bad daydreamer and suck at listening) but as long as you try hard and get your work done and ask questions, it will get easier. Just dont do what i do, i go home and fall asleep and then i play pokemon until its time to go to bed at like 1 am and then i get no sleep and no homework done, but at least i leveled up my team lol

First off, I'm literally the same way about the daydreaming part. If nothing really interesting is happening in class, my mind and thoughts are just GONE.

I know how that feels but it's really not as bad as you think. I started high school with only my one friend, and the rest of our middle school were going to another school across town. We knew no one there at all, everyone was new. I'm soo bad at getting out of my comfort zone with meeting new people and trying to make friends with them. But, it's actually better when you do. Having to sit alone in your classes is way worse than having a friend in there. Getting out of your comfort zone is good, to an extent, and high school is actually really fun! You meet so many new people and have so many cool experiences. I'm a third year (junior) now and I only have to finish this year and next year before I graduate. And trust me, graduating is scarier than beginning high school. And when you walk in that door and get through that first day, you'll be excited to go back. I know how it feels to be scared of high school, but it's really not bad at all!
