The other work in your gallery is really good. I'm just learning gems and jewels.
I'm confident that all you needed for a gnarl was a starting point... Enjoy!!

Thank you very much. On the gem thing, I had great help from jimpan1973 who I think is the king of jewels and gems , he gave me a wee tutorial using orbit traps, which is a great starting point. I'm finally getting the hang of it now.The hardest part is getting the gloss on the gems right, once you've cracked that it gets easier, but it's very hit or miss to begin with.
