I randomly thought of this idea today ;o;! So I made a smallish ref for them. I may make a few adopts soon :'3

Moon Brewers
Moon Brewers are based off the Moon Festival Legend in China called "Jade Rabbit Pounding Medicine". The story follows a rabbit that offers its life up to the immortals of the world. Astounded by this selfless act, they granted the rabbit the gift up immortality and sent it to the moon. This is where it is seen pounding away medicine for the immortals in the heavens. Moon brewers are descendants of the the Jade Rabbit in the tale. They've adapted to assisting humans rather than immortals; for they feel as though humans' lives are cut too short and strive to grant them one last chance at life.

Moon Brewers are extremely fluffy and are soft to the touch. When healing an ill human, they will lay upon their chest, and emit a soothing purring sound. When the human's body fully relaxes, and they fall asleep, the Moon brewer will rub its forehead against theirs. The crescent moon marking upon their forehead will then began to emit a soft glow and the concoction they have brewed in their tail will travel through their body and into the person in contact.

They can make up almost any kind of potion to heal any illness or disease.

They usually aren't known to wear clothing; only accessories such as scarves, hats, necklaces, etc.

Their often seen very colorful and bright but there are some that can have dark coloring.

Instead of shedding their fur, they shed stardust, leaving trails of sparkling dust around them. (You could say almost like dust bunnies)

Their whisker tips are often seen glowing when they're happy or excited.
