I have always loved the evolving icons that became really common around the time of Frontier where the icons were of the characters spirit and beast evolving to their Digimon forms.

After those, people tried their had at similar icons for earlier seasons, like the glowy ones for the characters from 02.

Anyway, long story short, =xuza made these mug shots for the Reboot Digimon of their rookie and champion forms. I've been wanting to try this ut lacked the confidence, but while I had some spare time over the bank holiday weekend I thought I might as well give it a shot, and they turned out really well.

I must stress, the mugshots are not by me. They were pixelled entirely by all I did was the animation.

To clarify, Hatimon does change colour, but the change is really subtle and not easy to see. Even I got confused when I was recolouring bits of this icon. Black is a bastard colour. :/
