I participated in a DrawThisInYourStyle Challenge hosted by a user on Instagram called krazee_artwork so check out his work if you have time!
Honestly though, I'm kind of meh about this artwork? I feel like the colors aren't clicking and a lot of aspects don't feel right like my clothing folds. It didn't help that the OC had kind of a muddy color palette which contrasts with my own colorful palette style. I also feel like the face/eyes aren't right.
Critique, feedback and tips are welcome!

No, the colours actually blend together well - the end of the hair's colouring isn't right, I think, though.Β I like the skirt folds, but I agree in saying that the shirt folds may be a tad off. The eyes are beautiful, but a little too close together. Overall, though, good job! The hands and legs are amazing!

I think it's pretty okay, though the face feels a bit off but I don't know why. You're a lot better than me when it comes to drawing human figure. I can't draw a single human without reference. x)

I know right, I know what you mean ;-; I'm really bad at faces (which is ironic considering anime/manga art is pretty much all about eyes and faces) so I gotta work on that. Referenced or not, that traditional CLAMP artwork you posted was really pretty

Though my ultimate goal is to draw anything without reference and building my own style while at it. The feeling of seeing how far you have gone is pretty satisfying, and I want to be proud of myself when I look back a year later.
Everything about human is so hard. I have been practicing on my sketchbook without using reference and it's just super bad. Β

Good luck with your goal, I'm sure you'll achieve it! So you want to draw humans alongside with designs? Which one do you want your main focus to be? Designs or humans? Just asking because before this comment I always assumed you'd be focused on designs more than anything else.Β

Well, for me it's more about visualizing my imagination when it comes to art. It doesn't really matter which way I do it, designing or drawing, or both. I don't want to limit myself with just designing only. I guess I fall into the "half artist half designer" spectrum.Β Β
