I had to add a lot of blasphemous color and light to the final version, but I judged that to be heretical so I saved out this old version to share instead.Related content

The background and creatures makes the painting Look very "Age of Sigmar-ish".
The way that the firehowlers in the foreground are depicted, they remind me of the old space wolf Wulfen assault units.

oh the guys in front are Wulfen. Its from the new Wulfen book. I kinda prefer the old school painterly look 40k used to have, and kinda tried to emulate that, so it feels a little more fantasy than scifi.

I'd love to see a side-by-side comparison between this and the 'blasphemous' version, in order to learn what would be too garish
