Description
Well, you guess what claymore character is this.Sadly, I'm not done shading her. Just like the other artworks I had. I'm posting her because at any moment the storm that approaches our city will force us to shut down electrical power. So that is why I am posting her even it's not yet done shading.
Enjoy.

I was referring to the layer containing the lineart, you can use the brush on it and it will only paint the lines, it has "locked transparency" so transparent areas won't be painted
Btw, the original image is full of gaps, is that normal?

Ok,I see, I thought you can paint. Oh, yes. The artwork has really gaps because this is not made by one single bondpaper
. About three pieces of long bond papers are used for this artwork, and they are scanned separately. I joined them using the photoshop, but because it was scanned separately, some of the lines in the edges are not scanned, creating now this gaps when they are joined again as a whole picture. So I have to make some editing to make the gaps disappear and connect the lines of it. I am in the process of doing them now, and will replace the previously posted with this "no gaps" version of the artwork.

wow! you really draw very well, I wanted to have a trait like that! I love color this kind of image ...
you have a version of this image in PNG with alpha channel?
if you have please send to my email: vitorvianakun@gmail.com ...
I'd love to color it, but if you have not, I paint this ...
PNG with alpha channel gives a much better result! XD

yes yes, I know ^ ^. however the dash lose some quality, when the image is already done in this way has a greater force on the line ... but it was so good, thanks

Thanks!
I'll try my best to send what you requested (I hope the power will still ok so that I can send your request). Btw, what is .Png with Alpha Channel? I know .Png and it could be done in Photoshop, but what about this Alpha Channel? Can this be made in Photoshop?

exactly MiriaJiyuu-san... the fact is that I need to separate into layers to color the image, clothing layer, skin layer, hair layer ... and the outline is a separate layer on top of all not to be damaged, just delete the white background makes damaging the dash and the result is not so good ...the ideal when you are drawing is to create a white layer and a transparent over to the trait, the hassle of coloring ... but this is just a hint XD
if it can not send me into transparent PNG ... 's just say that I turn to this original format...no problems ^^

I think I got what you meant. I actually sent to you what I believe to be the one you describe as .Png in your e-mail account (just before we lost the power because of the typhoon). I hope I got it right.
However, I'm in the process of putting additional shades on Miata(I mean "shade" just like you have seen in the two versions of Chloey that I made; the one you colored is the Chloey with the shade). I might give it to you in the next 10 hours (I'ts already midnight here in our place and I don't think the scanner shop will open early after the typhoon we had expereinced.
So what do you think?

Bu you just said you like the unshaded version in your e-mail. So what I am going to send to you (for now) is the unshaded version but with the line gaps fixed.

He basically wants a png with a transparent background that includes only the line art and not the white background. Alpha Channel is the channel that controls transparency is all.
It's easy enough in photoshop.
If you painted the image on a separate layer from the white background just hide the layer with the white background and save the image as a PNG using 'Save for Web and Devices' with transparency enabled, (it's a checkbox when saving). If you never had a white background, skip hiding the layer and just save it the same way.
If you didn't, it's a little more complicated . (Somewhere between 200 and 215 will work.)

Thanks! I am able to make what you just said for the .Png (though I don't get some of the terms or certain that I done it correctly). I guess this will be the effect, is it?

Basically yeah, need to leave a little more grey though, if you remove too much you start removing the image as well.

You don't need to, the image is more than dark enough already.
Sorry I was half asleep when I wrote that, wasn't paying close attention to what yours looked like, it came out perfect though.
