Description
I wanted to try a steampunk idea for a lock, which just kept growing and growing on the paper. I spent many hours drawing this so I hope you enjoy it.Related content

Steampunk - checked. Complexity - checked. Lock - checked.
Something forbidden? Faved!
The forbidden fruit effect is setting in, haha.
On a serious note, the execution here is fantastic! This scan has slightly brighter colours than I would have expected, but it doesn't harm it at all, I think it actually helps maintain the steampunk feel in it. Those weird tentacles behind it make you wonder what happens if you attempt to open it, whether with the official key or a lockpicking device...
Very very nice artwork!

Yeah, my scanner isn't the greatest and I try to keep photo editing to a minimum, which makes them look so much better on paper. Thank you for going into depth with the comment, I try to add an untold story to my bigger drawings. In this case an untamed lock with the ability to mystically change at will when tampered with, but for so much effort, it must be hiding something pretty spectacular.. or dreadfully terrifying.. I'm glad you enjoy it, and thanks again!
