Thanks, i made the model only to test the material - at what
point of bending it would split up and break...
No, you are right, at some points the mesh is streched so
much, that it slightly overlaps. This way it looked the most dynamical, but i may try to fix it. Thanks a hot lot for caring

Big thanks! This mat is part of the new mat-layer system in
Maxwell. You can blend different layers, this one is just a
default, that ought to be "grey car paint". In the beginning
it's very grainy, only after a long rendertime it gets smooth
with shiny reflections in certain angles - it's like you have
to bake this color to it.
