Starcraft 2: Terran FactoryModeled & Textured by Phill Gonzales
After remodeling and updating the Terran Barracks I was tasked to overhaul the Factory. The prototype models Trevor Jacobs made early in SC2's development were pretty cool, and the intention was to simply update the artwork. This building came under the most fire when we trying to decide how much team color to put on the Terran structures. We constantly removed and added team color, broke up team color areas, basically fussing with the thing until we were happy.
For a wonderful short time, I'd hidden posters of fat chicks on the back wall of the Factory. Unfortunatly a QA person did their job too well and found the poster, resulting in its removal.

They should've left the poster on, as a sort of Easter egg in the game.

I wish they would of. The picture wasn't something we owned the copyright to, which is a bummer but the reality is Blizzard can get sued for things like that. By the time the easter egg was discovered, there wasn't time to replace it with something we had the rights to.

This made me laugh a lot.
It also kind of reminds me of how Samwise used to stick Panda stuff everywhere in the WC3 textures\models.
The fact that factories could lift off never made any sense to me, though... They just look so square it looks really weird when they're flying in the air.
