My entry for Katana of Gion contest held bySaionji Akirako & Saionji Ryuto (c)
Katana is the symbol to express the relation between Akirako and Ryuto. A deep feeling of love mixed by hatred towards each other. Katana could mean protecting or slaying, which is the decision that should be made by the one who wields it. The outcome of their relationship.... is up to their hearts.

This picture is so beautiful. The powerful symbolism of the katana strikes the chord of fascination but leaves me uncomfortable and desperate to know just what path wil be chosen. Both look as though they could take either, offering no clear hint. The longer I look, the more I want to know the ending to this complicated tale.
