yeah, i know it's not the most orgional of concepts. (by that i mean drawing the comparison between DMs and God.) but noone ever says to the figure artist painting a reclining nude that it's been done before. and the same goes for other areas of the fine arts. so why should comics, which sadly arn't always granted the same level of respect as the "fine arts" be held to a higher standard of originality? now i'm not saying we cartoonists should just copy each-other. no. i'm saying there are certain themes in humor that are much like certain themes in fine arts. everyone should be allowed to explore the themes in their own particular ways without being labeled as unoriginal or a copycat.Related content

Oh, man, this is fantastic. I've actually had this same idea myself, stemming from a conversation that I had that really, all God's doing with our lives is a bunch of die rolls from behind a storyteller's screen.

First off, I have to wholeheartedly agree with your comments. The number one, top of the list, priority uno goal for any artist, be it fine, comic, or otherwise, should be to improve their craft. If that means you have to churn out a dead horse or a cliche, who cares? The value and experience is yours to cherish.

But that's a good thing.
For me, the thing that really made this funny was the fact that you seperated the two speech bubbles. That way, the difficulty nine sounds ominous, and deadly serious. Which is funny.
