Description i figured i'd wet your appetites with a peak at what i've been working on. this is a background for an upcoming comic i plan to launch with my new website.

i apologize the clarity and color is not the greatest in this. the painting is too large for my scanner and i took the picture at night so i had poor lighting to deal with. my little Cannon is amazing but it can only do so much.

If those machines in the corners is trying to look like old school machines, I think that you're mistaking light bulbs from old-school transistors. At first glance they kinda look the same, but they really aren't.

Awesome to include a picture of Tesla in this one. Nicely done! That man deserves far more recognition these days. I have the picture of him on my wall where he's reading that book in front of one of his large frequency transformer coils.

Was this from observation?
If so, I think you should build a robot from the stuff in the right-hand corner.

Beautiful background! I really dig the texture on the wooden floors the lighting from the camera isn't that bad either lol. It almost gives the background a natural lighting

Truly excellent. It reminds me of classic one-off cartoons from the 70s and 80s. The kinds that were just really interesting to watch. A few examples of what I mean are Heavy Metal (the movie), Schoolhouse Rock, and The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show. Those scraggly, colorful styles were very warm and inviting to watch.

It's got the kind of retro vibe that could be in a book of children's poetry, specifically if Shel Silverstein wrote the poems. I dig it.
