Description
Another easy monster to redesign was MechaGodzilla. Basically, I used traits of all three MechaGodzillas prior to the Anime trilogy but mostly Heisei and Kiryu.

Its roars will be a mix of Godzilla’s Millennium roars with a more robotic filter, Kiryu, and Heisei MechaGodzilla.

MECHAGODZILLA

Height: 120 meters

Bio: In order to combat the war against kaiju, mankind resorted to creating kaiju of their own. Using data collected for Godzilla such as photos and x-rays, the Japanese and United States governments teamed up and created their ultimate weapon; MechaGodzilla. First revealed to the world in 1993, MechaGodzilla was designed to be more powerful and efficient than its organic counterpart in every way imaginable. Within a week of its completion, the machine already managed a total of ten successful victories over Anguirus, Rodan, Baragon, Varan, Ebirah, Gabara, Orga, Battra, Kumonga, and Kamacuras. It was only a matter of time before it would have to fight against Godzilla in Tokyo, Japan.

The two titans clashed, pushing back and forth with MechaGodzilla seemingly gaining the upper hand with its superior firepower and its armor powerful enough to withstand Godzilla’s atomic breath. However, Godzilla wasn’t willing to give up so easily. Their battle ended when both the atomic breath and plasma laser clashed with each other before exploding, sending both competitors back. While a badly wounded and bleeding Godzilla fell into the bay, MechaGodzilla suffered critical damage to its cockpit and weapons systems before getting called back for repairs. The two would continue to clash with each other for decades before the machine was finally abandoned inside a Japanese military base after the failure of Operation Destroy All Monsters in 2075.

Many years after in a world now dominated by kaiju, a small group of humans learn about the mechanical monster and set out to reactivate it in an effort to kill the kaiju and save what remained of the human race.

Powers/Abilities

Physical Capabilities: Having been built from Godzilla’s image, MechaGodzilla possesses incredible strength equal to that of its organic counterpart. It’s easily capable of delivering powerful strikes with its claws and tail as well as lift and throw monsters with ease.

Durability: MechaGodzilla’s armor was forged by an artificial diamond said to be ten times stronger than titanium. This allows the machine to endure large amounts of damage and punishment from other kaiju including Godzilla as its able to withstand multiple blasts of his atomic breath. However, it’s not invincible and will dent or break if enough damage is inflicted.

Flight: Using hidden rocket boosters underneath its feet and between its dorsal plates, MechaGodzilla can fly at speeds of Mach 3. The rocket boosters can also be used in battle for dodging attacks or making high jumps.

Laser Cannons: MechaGodzilla can fire rainbow-colored lasers from its eyes, easily injuring its opponents.

Plasma Laser: As a way to mimic Godzilla’s atomic breath, MechaGodzilla can fire a yellow plasma beam from its mouth with the same destructive power. MechaGodzilla’s own dorsal plates will even glow yellow as well.

Missiles: MechaGodzilla can fire powerful homing missiles from its back, shoulders, and knees at its opponent.

Taser Blade: MechaGodzilla can unsheathe a long energy blade from its wrists to stab opponents and deliver strong electric surges into their bodies.

Neo Defense Barrier: MechaGodzilla can activate a large force field around itself which protects the robot from other kaiju’s attacks. Special abilities would only be deflected back and physical attacks would only cause enemies to be electrocuted. The only draw backs are that the shield can only be up for 1 minute and must be allowed to recharge for 5 minutes.

Hyper Spiral Beam: MechaGodzilla’s most powerful weapon, three panels in its chest open up before releasing a powerful red blast of energy right at its opponent. This attack can inflict major damage to an opponent or even kill them if the opponent is weakened enough. However, this attack takes 30 seconds to charge up and can not be used again for 20 minutes as it must recharge.
