Background

Penny is a seemingly ordinary girl, but looks can be deceiving. She is the only daughter of William Blackwood, one of the biggest businessmen in Skyland City, and a worldwide business tycoon. Born with everything one could ask for, yet she was far from pampered. Her father was caring but strict, and from a young age Penny got rigorous education courses in addition to her private school, as she was expected to lead her family’s business empire. Despite some initial struggle though, the young blonde managed to excel in all of her studies and advanced courses. Highly intelligent, organized and observant, Penny was driven and focused in her endeavors. Combining brains and looks, she was also quite athletic, often hitting the gym and winning a number of sport contests. The young heiress got into college with top marks, and was considered a prodigy by many, yet she did not allow this go into her head. Remaining calm and composed, Penny had shown an interest in business and has already gotten some business experience despite her young age. She even suggested and planned the takeover of a rival company, which resulted in a stunning business success. Her father was impressed and started letting her get better insight on more of his business deals and companies, and even allowed her to run one his night clubs, which Penny soon managed to turn into one of the biggest nightclubs in the city. All this developed an aggressive and competitive attitude for the young blonde, a tendency to bend the rules and always get what she wants. And yet one particular incident, would harden her attitude even more.

It was a regular evening when Penny, still in high school, was returning to her mansion. There was a loud crash, like an explosion, her limousine stopped and moments later the doors were smashed open, her bodyguards knocked out and the young blonde grabbed by large, hooded men. Tied up, her head covered by a black hood, Penny could do nothing to prevent her kidnappers from taking her, and when her black hood was removed, she saw that she was in what seemed to be a rundown apartment. The young heiress had been kidnapped by a group of gang members, hired by one of her father’s most ruthless rivals, in order to coerce him to step down from a business deal. Penny was held hostage for days until she was saved by an unlikely rescuer. A mysterious woman, called Serena. The powerful witch happened to hear the incident that was all over the news, and did not take lightly to some gangsters holding a young girl hostage and decided to intervene, striking them with great fury. Penny was grateful for her rescue, despite her shock at the strange woman using magic, and kept her involvement a secret when she was found by the police soon after, and Serena would visit her again, to make sure she was okay after her ordeal. After that incident, Penny decided to take matter to her own hands, making sure that she would never find herself in such a helpless situation again. She started taking self defense classes and worked out more regularly, and more importantly, she got a deeper insight of her father’s business, including some shadier, under the table deals. The young college girl also understood the importance of intel and information, realizing that knowledge is power. Especially when backed by considerable resources. Using her keen intellect, her observation skills, her vast resources and the recruitment of some particular, highly skilled individuals, including former agents and information brokers, Penny developed an entire network system of intel and information gathering, to the point that she knows almost everything about anyone who is worth of notice. An entire network system fully controlled by her, and unknown to anyone else, Penny moved from the shadows. She leaked some bits of intel to her father which allowed him to bankrupt the rival that was behind her kidnapping, but that only the beginning. Becoming cold and calculating, Penny would use almost any means necessary to get what she want, even resorting to blackmail and extortion. Her own night club, the Red Velvet, would become her base of operations, but she would often made use of her family estate as well. Her name would soon be known to the underworld, and her inscrutable and cold attitude would earn her the name of Ice Princess. Penny would use her network not only to ensure the success of the family business, but for other purposes too. Eventually her path would cross with the path of some of Skyland City’s heroines, much to her joy. Penny always had a liking for older, beautiful women, and found the heroines of the city particularly attractive. Her fascination and desire for them, along with a bit of frustration and anger that none of them came to her rescue when she needed them, would lead to her using whatever chance she got to get them, and have her way with them. The young heiress would have anything she desired, and that included them, as well.

A highly driven prodigy, with a cold and calculating attitude. Businesswoman, heiress, information broker and college girl, Penny has her own agenda and usually gets what she wants, and might prove to be a bigger adversary to Skyland City's heroines than they would expect.
