I don't feel like I've got a whole lot to say about the final result for this one. As it's quite a simple image, the colouring for it was pretty simple too, without too much drama as I was working on it. For the shadows in the red of her dress I added some areas of cool grey, in addition to the multiple layers of the base red, in order to make the shadows more distinct from the main colour, and I think that for the most part it's worked. To try and suggest that the padded parts of her gloves are made from a different material to the fabric, I used a marginally different shade of red, and though it's not immediately obvious, I think it gets the idea across. In a similar vein, I used a slightly darker grey for her undershirt when compared to her trousers, as I wanted to imply that they were two pieces of clothing, and not some sort of jumpsuit, and I think it's mostly worked. For her hair, I used a warm grey as opposed to the cool grey for her clothing, and it's another subtle but necessary difference between the two, much like the subtle pink elements in her skin tone. So yeah, kinda simple this one, but I'm happy with how it's looking now that it's done.
