At first glance I thought this was the North wind covering the man with sheets of newspaper to keep him warm
Then I read your description "White death"... but I still think its more sweet than sinister..

I am not really sure how people get offended or upset about this. It is truth in its own. Sadly not everyone can actually see it every day where they live. It is one thing people love to ignore, but when its shoved in their faces, they quiver in fear and run away from the truth. This is a magnificent illustration of what people go through everyday.
Count your blessings people, because this could happen to anyone at any given time. You are not promised tomorrow.
Bless those who have nothing and give them the sanctuary they need.
