Sam was over the moon when his photo realistic PokeBall arrived in the mail. Being silly he tossed it at his girlfriend, Nadine. She disappeared in a flash and the ball fell to the ground with a red light flashing.

He rushed over and popped open the ball. She was pissed with her arms raised into two flipped birds, “You idiot; what did you think you were doing? Do I look like a Pikachu to you?”

As she continue to yell, and the light flashed, Sam thought she was cute and couldn’t help himself. He brushed a finger across her belly. “You know in the game after the ball stops flashing the Pokémon becomes tame and calm. I wonder if that happens with this ball.”

“I’ll never be calm that you…” a green light lit and a smile crossed Nadine’s face, “Sam, I am really glad you captured me. Did you need me to battle with another trainers Pokémon? Oh! Do you have a Pokémon candy for me? Maybe I can follow you around!”

Sam smiled broadly and pet her head, “Not right now Nadine, I am going to close the ball now.”

“Ok! See you soon, Sam!”
