“February 8th, 2010 - Complete success! My slow introduction of the reductorix experimental compound over the past few weeks has paid off. Subject has been reduced to the size of a doll without the ill or catastrophic effects experienced by prior test subjects. Test subject is neurologically intact as verified through several stimulus reaction checks but she has been rendered catatonic from fright. I have been brushing her hair since the subject frequently requested me to do this in the past to help her unwind from a stressful day.

So future experiments will need to develop a regime to mentally prepare the reduced for their new world view or a much better ‘reduced’ environment for them to wake up in so that normal sized objects can be slowly reintroduced. On that point, my old dollhouse on reflection was a woefully inadequate environment to keep my reduced for observation. If I can rouse her from this state. I will use the test subject to select a better environment for her.

Monitoring will continue over the next several weeks to determine if size relapse occurs. Further a decision point will be reached soon by the ethics board if dissection will be required to prove safety of the treatment.
