“Cedric, you promised you’d take me to a nice sit down place.”“I will Siobhan, just trust me.”
“We’ve had take away pizza far too many times.”
“Just close your eyes, it will be a surprise.”
“Fine.” As her eyes close she feels a warm tingling sensation. “What’s going on Cedric?” She felt her self lifted, but firmly kept her eyes closed. She trusted him.
“Don’t worry, we are almost there.” Siobhan felt herself sat down and a glass pushed into her hand. The smell of grease and garlic assaulted her nose. “Ok love, open your eyes.”
She laughed at the ridiculous situation she found herself in. She was sat at a table…but seemingly the table was a tiny pizza protector. “You giant prick - you know you are replacing the shoes and tights, yeah?”
“All part of the costs of impressing you,” he smiled at her. “Shall we order the filet minon or the lobster?”
“Just get me a corner of the crust that I can nibble on like a mouse. This wears off right?”
“Yep, just after we get into the movies with one ticket.”
“Movies too? Well I guess let’s hurry up then!”
