The stories had told of how the old castle in the hills contained a dragon. Arabeth sought to make her name by slaying the beast. As she approached she was overtaken by a mystical ether from which she awoke just a hand span tall.

“Ah you’re awake, excellent! What brings you here little adventurer?” The wizards voice shook her to her tiny core.

“I came to slay the dragon!”

“I’m glad the story I helped seed still lives on. Apologies but I am really shy, so I am going to have to keep you here. Long ago people called upon me constantly to deal with their trivial woes. I do need help fighting a dragon…though it is of the fruit variety.”
