“Great, you arrived just in time!” Kristin was hooked by her arm and brought into her clients house. Being a party princess has it perks, but Kristin found it had its share of oddities. “This party is for my best mate, James. He jokingly remarked how fun it would be to have a doll cake like they make in the cooking shows we watch, but he really doesn’t eat sugar. So we agreed it have to be a doll cupcake. That’s where you come in!”“Oh you got a giant cupcake out back?” Kristin said happy to play along.
“Not quite. Sorry love you’re going to get drowsy for a second. Don’t worry we will take care of you throughout and James won’t do anything at all. I promise, we’ve been mates for going on 30 years now.”
Kristin was about to protest as she felt herself becoming woozy. When she awoke she felt a gentle but insistent pressure on her shoulders. “You shrunk me!”
“Shhh now, don’t ruin the surprise. Be a good little princess and just smile. Here, hold this blueberry too. Oh! James is going to just adore you.”
Kristin found she couldn’t stop smiling so she clutched the basketball sized berry to her chest and wished for it to be over.
