A once in the lifetime trip to London required a ride on the Eye. So James and Deena were excited as they climbed aboard. As their capsule started to ascend, they felt some rumbling, but weren’t too concerned.

A few second later, when they saw a bus disappear underneath the sole of a white Keds shoe, the situation had changed. A goliath took ahold of the Eye and began to twist as she laughed, the structure complained at the abuse. Following several sickening snaps, James and Deena felt themselves alternatively floating above the floor and then pinned to it. The mechanical brakes were dust and it was just the blonde titan in control now.

When this treatment had stopped, James and Deena were relieved to find they only had minor bruises and scratches. Their hearts sunk again when they heard the giant woman state in a booming Aussie accent, “That was fun, but I want to take one of these capsules home. Which should I choose?”

For the next several minutes, James and Deena sat perfectly still as their captor slowly surveyed each capsule, judging using metrics only known to her, to decide which to take. When she came to their capsule, her face lit up, “Twenty eight is my favorite number! And it has some cute dolls inside. That’s it, this one is clearly meant for me.”

As a giant palm took up their entire field of view, the two felt their entire existence ripped away from its mooring. They were now just the possessions of a exotic tourist.
