Hypothetical poster for the Man of Steel sequel. I thought Supe's looked a little let out in that Justice League image since everyone else had a new costume, so I figured I'd do a lil bit of a redesign. Hopefully Superman'll come back with a lighter costume and an even lighter personality.Related content

Hopefully he'll stop being so gloomy and impotent. And for the love of pete, let's call the movie "Man of Tomorrow". Last Son implies another alien invasion and some inherent tragedy to his character. Again. OH, and your design is pretty awesome.

Awesome! Though, he looks more like Tyler Hoechlin than Henry Cavill to me. Maybe it's just becuase you've shown him as being more cheerful and with a brighter costume, which is what Hoechlin looks like in the latest photos from Supergirl Season 2...

I'd say Tyler Hoechlin's suit is roughly the same shade of blue as Henry Cavill's but not as reflective or glossy as as Henry's. That and Zack Snyder ups the contrast so it looks like Superman's just wearing a black suit with dark blue highlights, the actual suit is much lighter.Β pbs.twimg.com/media/CcjNwsOVAAβ¦ And I've yet to see a released image of Hoechlin smiling as Superman, he's either straightfaced or doing a Super-pout.Β pbs.twimg.com/media/Coems5yUEAβ¦

Batman v Superman thought is was a cool idea to show a very slow montage of a frowning Superman catching rockets and dragging boats to shore, what the next Superman movie should do is show a short montage, not in slow motion, of Superman doing the little things that make his character great. Like helping cats out of trees or talking someone out of suicide, which he's done twice, or even have him take down low level villains like Toyman.

yeah, plus show his more human sides, like going to a diner while still in his suite and ordering some coffee and apple pie with the staff smiling and treating him like a normal customer, i also want to see this done with the flash cause thats also happened a couple of times. Plus there was this one time superman challenged a bunch of kids to a basketball match and let them beat him.
a part of me also wants superman at the end of a justice league movie to maybe have wonder woman and batman go with him to a diner just to order some shakes, burgers and fries for some rnr, also kinda eluding to super cafe from how it should have ended.

I'm gonna throw in my two cents and say that I think we are gonna see a bit more of a traditional supes in MOS 2 and JL. I think that was the point of Dawn of Justice. I personally really enjoyed the character arcs given to supes and bats in BVS. Clark was still new to being Superman and actually he reminds a bit of the Superman Luthor describes in Superman Unchained

Oh you so said it, buddy! Β I wanted to Love the new Superman stories, but all of this dark genre stuff has caught up with getting on my nerves. Β Superman isn't an alien to be feared, he's a symbol of hope. Β I really hope Superman gets a better treatment as a character when he comes back (I mean, they gotta, he did in the comic).
